Lou Etta is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Houser; and her loving son, Jared Houser.
Lou Etta is survived by her loving son, Kevin Houser (Mary); loving grandchildren, Marta (Bailey), William (Tessa), Laura Barolo (Zach), and James. She will also be greatly missed by her cherished great-grandchildren, Tallula and Vida.
Lou Etta retired as a bank teller at Comerica Bank after 28 years. Although she volunteered at various charitable organizations, she was especially known for the giving of her numerous knitted hats and blankets.
A Funeral Service will be held for Lou Etta on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11AM, with an Instate beginning at 10:30AM, at Redeemer United Methodist Church, 20571 Vernier Road Harper Woods, MI 48225.
