Louise Rose Mannino

Louise Rose Mannino (nee Consiglio) was born on Tuesday, February 28, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. She is one of eight children born to Giacomo and Pietrina Consiglio. Louise died with family by her side on Friday, May 3, 2019. She was 91 years old. Louise's hospitality was extended to everyone. She was considered to be a second mother to many. No one left her house hungry because she always fed guests soup and pasta. She was the rock of the family that was evident through her hard work, dedication and kindness she has shown to others. Beloved wife of the late Peter Joseph Mannino for 66 years. Loving mother of Lisa Mannino, Patricia Smith, Anthony (Linda) Mannino, Maria (Steve) Schuster, Michelle (Michael) Gregor, and James (Melessa) Mannino. Proud grandmother of Rachel (Nick), Thomas Smith, Kevin, Trina (Matt), Nicholas, Alaina (Justin), Juliana, Joseph, Angela, Samantha, and Mario. Great-grandmother of Reese. Sister of Patricia Pelione, Mary Dillard and the late Tom Consiglio, Tony Consiglio, Sam Consiglio, Jack Consiglio, and Kay Stella. Instate Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 9:00 am until time of the funeral Mass 9:30 am at the St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Arrangements entrusted to A.H. Peters Funeral Home of Warren. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Capuchin Soup Kitchen or to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital would be appreciated.
