Lydia Grace McQuiston

Lydia Grace McQuiston, the loved daughter of Michael and Gina McQuiston passed gently into the arms of Jesus on Thursday August 23, 2018. She was able to pass at home with her parents by her side . Lydia was born on Friday December 8, 2017, at St. John Hospital in Detroit. She was a gift from God for her family. Such a little fighter. During her brief visit on Earth she loved to snuggle and be held close. Her bright eyes were so inquisitive and her smile could light up any room. She was dearly loved and cherished and will be missed. She was greeted in heaven by her great-grandfathers, Richard Garabrant, and Charles Eckstein and by her "Papa" Phillip McQuiston. She leaves behind her loving and caring parents Michael and Gina McQuiston. She is survived by her dear siblings Logan and Lillian. She will be remembered by her grandparents Gary and Marcia Eckstein and Diane McQuiston, and her aunts, uncles and cousins, Melanie and William Barker (Madelyn and Emily), Maureen and Charles Pinter (Benjamin and Matthew), Monica and Keith Kjarval (Hannah and Jacob), Angela and Thomas Forbes, and Jim and Sarah Eckstein. The Family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jacci Ouellette and her daycare team (Chrissy, Melissa, Olivia, Renee, and Val) for loving and caring for Lydia. They would also like to thank the Beaumont PATCH Hospice Team as well as the rest of Lydias healthcare team, Dr. Rubin Gappy, Dr. Premchard Anne, Dr. Gonik and audiologist (Darcy and Leslie) for investing their time and energy into Lydia making sure she had the best care no matter her limitations.
