She also sang for many years with the Grosse Pointe Community Chorus. And, she was a long-time member of the Tuesday Musicale of Detroit.
Throughout her decades of teaching and singing, Margaret cared deeply for others and made many lasting friendships.
She had a heart for animals shown by her love for the family dogs and her concern for wildlife. She supported many charitable causes including the Michigan Humane Society.
Margaret and Dick wanted their children and grandchildren to experience the world through travel, taking them on trips to all 50 states and numerous countries. These travels provide a continuing wellspring of shared memories, which are recalled fondly with smiles and laughter.
