Margaret Ann Miller

Margaret Ann Miller, age 78 of Clinton Township, passed away at home on Thursday, August 8, 2013. She was born in Detroit on Wednesday, August 15, 1934; the daughter of Joseph and Anna Anselmo. Margaret was a hard worker growing up and it was always of the utmost importance to her to take diligent care of her family. She was an excellent cook and was involved in all her children's school activities. With her father coming over from Elis Island, she spoke both Italian and English fluently. She had a passion for reading which contributed to her success in academics; she graduated at the top of her class as a straight "A" student. Margaret was born with a birth defect that would not allow her to move her left arm, but after many visits to Father Solanus, she was able to gain use of her arm even without a collar bone and is listed in his book as one of his miracles. Margaret was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she was loved by everyone she met. Loving mother to Shelley (Aurelio Jr.) Carrizales, Kris (Lorrie) Miller, Nicole DeBeul and the late Cynthia Miller. Treasured grandmother of Jason (Shawna), Natisha (Jay), Justin, Jessica (Justin), Ryan (Brittany), Devin, Chase, Taylor and the late Michael. Adoring great-grandmother of David, Sean and Kaelyn. Dear sister of Carol (Pete) and sister-n-law of Merch and the late Rose. Visitation will be held Monday, August 12, 2013 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm with a 7:00pm funeral service at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. Interment Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at St. Catherine Cemetery in Algonac. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice.
