OBITUARY

Margaret Mary Patt

Margaret Mary Patt, age 84, of St. Clair Shores died on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at her home. She was born on March 20, 1937 in Detroit to the late Alexander and Marie (nee: Danbert) Fuerst.

Margaret was a lifelong caregiver to those who were suffering. She worked at Bon Secour Hospital (currently known as Beaumont Hospital) as an LPN. After her retirement, Margaret continued to give by caring for her sisters and family members, as well as volunteering for Meals on Wheels.

She was a devoted Catholic who lived her faith by her constant acts of charity to others. Her patience and compassion were constant and inexhaustible.

Her three loving children, Renee A. Kovacs (Phillip) of Northville, Mary Casasanta (Anthony) of Macomb, and Kenneth R. Patt (Nancy) of St. Clair Shores; her six grandchildren, Kyle, Erin, Kenneth A., Rachael, Emily and Thomas; as well as five great grandchildren, survive her. She is also survived by her sister Rita, and predeceased by her sisters Frances, Ann and Mary Clare.

Her loving husband, Kenneth D. Patt, preceded Margaret in death on November 18th, 2014.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (22412 Overlake St, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). Instate will be begin at 9:30 a.m. until the start of Mass at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to World Medical Relief.

I will always remember my Aunt Margaret for her kindness towards me and my family. She was always so kind and loving and I used to just love watching the interaction between her and her sisters who had a un-breakable bond. Love you and will miss you! May you now Rest In Peace with those loved ones we have previously lost. All my love, Patty
