Marilyn Helen Cox

MARILYN HELEN COX passed away peacefully at the age of 87, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by loving family on May 7, 2020. She was born on June 16, 1932 to Harold & Gertrude Rosenow, who preceded her into Heaven.

Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Marcel John Cox for nearly 50 years.

She is survived by her six children Sandra Schaeffer (the late Earl), Kendrick (Elaine), Kathleen Zoellner (Dean), Jeffrey (Donna), Kimberly Spencer (Bryan), Marcia Stickel (Paul).

Marilyn is also survived by eleven loving and doting Grandchildren: Kelly Machesky (Richard), Helen Cox, Andrew Cox (Sandy), John Cox, Richard Zoellner, Kris Ann Fee (Shawn), Heather Duggan (John), Mitchell Spencer, Lauren Spencer, Katherine Stickel, Rachel Stickel.

Marilyn was also blessed with nine Great Grandchildren: Sydney Lepora (Maxwell), Christian Machesky (Mackenzie), Mariel Machesky, Caroline Machesky, Elizabeth Cox, Lucas Cox, Jacob Cox, Grady Fee, Natalie Duggan and one Great Great Grandchild: Amelia Lepora, with two additional blessings expected in late summer.

Marilyn has two brothers - the late Donald (late wife Marianne) and Robert. She also leaves behind loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is being held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 10:00 am at Shepherd's Gate Church, 12400 23 Mile Road, Shelby Twp., MI 48315. Social distancing will be observed and face masks are required. Please check with one of the family members if you plan to attend since the number of guests may be limited.

The family is forever grateful for their Christian parents, who instilled in them the love and knowledge of our salvation through Christ Jesus our Lord.
