

Marilyn Denise Krall, 63, (nee EASLEY) formerly of Grosse Pointe Farms, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2017 at her home in Canadian Lakes, Michigan after a long fight with Multiple System Atrophy. She was born November 27, 1953 in Detroit to Marie and Fredrick C. Easley. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 41 years Martin P. Krall, Jr., mother Marie Easley, four thankful children Martin A. (Alicia), Brian (Carin), Thomas (Lauren), and Lindsay; grandchildren Caroline, Martin P. IV, William, Henry, Adam and Andrew and brother Rick Easley. She is preceded in death by her father and brother Mark Easley. Marilyn graduated with a degree in Accounting from Wayne State University and was Certified as a Public Accountant. While working at Kresge's, Marilyn met her future husband, partner, and best friend. Marilyn and Marty were married August 22, 1975, and with each other's support, achieved success in business and family life. Marilyn enjoyed a successful business career at the IRS, Arthur Anderson, Mediabase Corporation and Business News Publishing Company. Among her business accomplishments, she was responsible for the first Michigan qualified 401K plan to be approved by the IRS. While managing a successful career, Marilyn was a dedicated mother and wife. She was an ideal role model who encouraged athletic, educational and professional endeavors. Some of her favorite pastimes included skiing, swimming, horseback riding, tennis, spending time in nature and traveling Marilyn was grateful for her life and strongly believed in helping those less fortunate. She touched many lives through her caring and affectionate nature as demonstrated by her involvement in several charitable organizations. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods on Tuesday April 25th from 2:00 PM to 9:00PM with evening prayers. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Philomena Catholic Church, 4281 Marseilles, Detroit, on Wednesday, April 26th. She will lie in repose at 10:00 AM, with Mass at 11:00 AM.
