She was born in Vandalia, Illinois. She came to Michigan with her childhood friend, Coco Marsasus, right after high school. She worked for many companies as a secretary, and retired from the R.P. Scherer Corporation.
She was introduced to “Joe”, and they were married on September 21, 1962. She was a long time member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She was active in the altar guild there. She also was Woman of the Year in 2000. Her hobbies included golf, travel, being with friends, and attending all of the Lutheran Choralaires Functions!
