Mary Bertschinger passed away at age 67 peacefully at her home after a long battle with leukemia and heart disease on Saturday June 11, 2016. Mary was born in Detroit on September 25, 1948 the daughter of Jerome and Patricia Spry. Mary is survived by her loving daughters Lisa Tomeo (Mark) and Melissa Knack (Adam), her 5 grandchildren Mikayla, Ava, Preston, Addisyn and Isabella, as well as her siblings Barb Spry, Mark Spry (Debbie) and Kathy Parris (Nick). Mary is also survived by nephew Nickolas and niece Jenna, as well as many cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Jerome and Patricia Spry. Per her wishes, no funeral service is planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the American Heart Association in memory of Mary.
