Mary Simpson Birkenshaw (nee Murray), age 85. Our "May" went to be with her Lord on August 4, 2009. Born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 22, 1924 to Lawrence and Margaret (Peggy) Murray who proceeded her to heaven. She will be remembered for preparing the way for her family to journey to America. She spoke fondly of her time at Universal Studios in Detroit and her love of Scottish country dancing. May will be missed by her siblings, nieces and nephews in Scotland and America.
