Mary Burdine passed away peacefully at home on February 3, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 66. She was born in Maryville, Tennessee on September 23, 1947; daughter of Ben T. and Lucy Marshall Burdine. Mary retired from Fluid Systems, Inc. as a bookkeeper after twenty years in 2009. She was fun loving with numerous friends. Ms. Burdine enjoyed spending time at her summer home, "Mary's Place", in Gaylord, Michigan. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. She was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her loving brothers Robert (Sherryl), James (Connie), and Frank (Barbara). She was a devoted aunt to John (Cathy), Lynn, Robert, James (Julie), and Nancy (Josh). She was a great-aunt to Violet, Lilah, and Nolan. A Memorial Service will be held at Redeemer United Methodist Church 20571 Vernier Road, Harper Woods on Sunday April 6 1:30 PM with Pastor Thomas H. Priest Jr. as Clergy.
