Lorraine Elsey, age 85 died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 6, 2009. She was the beloved wife of the late William. Dear mother of William (Linda), Daniel (Diane), Lou Anne Reaume (Arthur) and Douglas (Janice). Nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Sister of Geraldine Donohoe, Elaine Schmidt, Robert Denoyer and the late Donald Denoyer (Judy). Visitation 1-10 pm Tuesday at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods with a 7:30 pm rosary. Instate at St. Jude Church, 15879 E. Seven Mile, Detroit (48205) from 9:30 am Wednesday until mass at 10 am. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Roseville will be private. Lorraine was a past president and served numerous years for the St. Jude Rosary Altar Society. She was active with the DeLaSalle Knights of Columbus Council, Daughters of Isabella. Memorials to the Church would be appreciated.
