Mary Grace Graziani, age 101, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026.
Mary was the beloved wife of Domenic, deceased, loving mother of Robert (Deborah) and Janet (Walter) Thursam. Grandmother of Paul (Lisa) Thursam, Scott (Annmarie) Thursam and Jessica (Matthew) Weiler. Great-grandmother of Isaac, Jacob, Walter and Joseph Thursam.
Born on July 2, 1925, Mary lived a long and full life centered on the people and experiences she held most dear. She was married to Domenic for 55 years, a partnership that formed the foundation of her family life. She loved her family deeply; especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She found great joy in the simple and lasting moments spent with them.
Her fondest memories were family vacations and the numerous holidays and family dinners that brought everyone together.
Mary also had a love of travel. She delighted in exploring the world with friends, creating memories together that she cherished for decades. She will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to family, and the quiet joy she took in just being present with them.
Instate will be held at: Our Lady Star of the Sea Church 467 Fairford Road Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan
There will be a viewing at 9:30am followed by mass at 10:00am on Saturday, August 8th. Final resting place will be Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township.
