Born to parents Howard and Gladys Minock on March 7, 1927 in Tyrone Township, Mary became the fourth out of five children. Mary has always been a family person, and on June 23, 1952, she married the love of her life, Donald Schultz. Mary and Donald became an inseparable pair, and started a family of their own, welcoming six children. For Mary, family always came first. She loved spending time with her children, and would go on to adore her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mary also became quite the cook, taking years to practice to get better at it. For at least 60 years, Mary and Donald were bridge partners and had multiple groups of friends they played cards with. Wherever Mary and Donald went, it seemed like Mary was always making a new friend. She was a very easy person to talk to and get along with. Mary also enjoyed being outside, taking time to herself to go on long walks. Mary also loved to travel. She and Donald would travel the world together, but Ireland had to be her favorite place to visit. Mary was a very holy woman. She attended Our Lady Star of The Sea for over 70 years, and never once skipped Mass. Mary was loved by so many, and will be greatly missed.
Mary is predeceased in death by her parents, Howard and Gladys Minock; siblings, Maxine, Eileen, Jack, and Joe; and her late daughter, Laura Abeli.
