Michael Paul Ruger, age 69, died October 24, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. He was born November 17, 1944 in Detroit to Michael J. and Elfrieda D. (Nee Wegehaupt) Ruger. Michael was a Vietnam Veteran and the owner of Certified Reducer Rebuilders, Inc., Madison Heights. He was an avid hunter, boater and enjoyed his cottage near Cadillac and traveling to his favorite spot of Aruba for the past 18 years. Beloved husband of Patricia, whom he married August 4, 1984. Loving father of Michelle DeMeulenaere, Sherri (Dan) Forner and Chuck (Michele) Hoffman. Proud grandfather of Shelby, Alexa, Cody, Kyle and Savannah. Dear brother of Nancy (Gary) Bernhardt. Visitation Monday 2:00pm-9:00pm with a funeral service Tuesday 10:00am at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr (at Masonic), Warren.
