Miroslav Filipovich, age 88 of Sterling Heights, passed away February 16, 2014. He was born in Yugoslavia on October 15, 1925; the son of Vojin and Stanija (nee Pavlovic) Filipovich. Beloved husband of the late Stana for 47 years. Loving father of Velinka (Steve) Milanovic. Adoring grandfather of Melissa (Nenad) Dobrocic and Milan (Gordana) Milanovic. Adoring great-grandfather of Divna and Marin Dobrocic and Milorad and Ilia Milanovic. Visitation for Miroslav will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2014 and Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. Funeral Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Stevan Decanski Serbian Orthodox Church, 14235 E. 11 Mile Rd., Warren. Interment to take place Friday, February 21, 2014 at Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery in Grayslake, Illinois.
