Nancy Elizabeth Evans, age 63, died on December 10, 2011. Nancy was born on July 17, 1948 in Detroit, MI to her parents, William and Bernice Stevens. Nancy is survived by her dear husband Harold. She leaves behind her children; Rachel (Adam) Smith, Julie (Mark) Hellman, and David (Megan) Evens. She was the proud grandmother of 9. She is also survived by her brother Ronald (Sally) Stevens. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6:00-9:00 pm. at the A.H.Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave.(At Vernier)Grosse Pointe Woods. Nancy will lie in state from 10:00am until the time of service 11:00 am on Tuesday at Hope Community Church, 14456 E. Jefferson Avenue, Detroit.
