Nicholas Avouris, age 91 of Grosse Pointe Woods. Loving husband to Nitsa Avouris for 64 years. Survived by his daughter, Denise (Dimitri) Tzavellas, their children, Pantel and Nicholas and his son, Nicholas and his children, Dimitri, Alexander, Sophia and Nicholas. Brother of Mary Olga Vickery. He was predeceased by his 6 brothers and sisters. Nicholas was a devoted husband, loving father, uncle and proud grandfather. Nicholas and his wife, Nitsa were the founders of Nitsa's Draperies and Interiors for over 65 years. Instate 10:00 AM at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter, St. Clair Shores until the funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment Clinton Grove Cemetery.
