Named after his great grandfather, Nick was the oldest of five children of Gabriel and Souraya (Moujally) Nehro, immigrants to Detroit from Tripoli, North, Lebanon.
His siblings include Phil, Denny (Pam), Marie, and Bernie (Mark).
While living in his childhood home on Lakewood Street in Detroit, Nick spent his summers with his Dad in the garden. And, while attending school at Saint Martin’s, Nick enjoyed helping his parents at the family-owned neighborhood grocery store.

He also enjoyed cheering on the Detroit Lions and was a Notre Dame fan.
Nick’s past times included seeking out vintage bookstores, meeting for coffee with friends, lunch with family, and basking in the sun on a park bench while reading one of his favorite books.
