Norbert Thomas Jankowski

Norbert Thomas Jankowski died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the age of 77. Norbert was born on May 31, 1934 to Anna (nee Sulkowski) and Anthony Jankowski. He met his wife, Helen, at the boat races and have been married for 57 years. They were married on June 19, 1954 in Newberry, Michigan. Norbert graduated from Lawrence Tech in 1963 with a bachelor in mechanical engineering. After 23 years at F. Joseph Lamb, Norbert retired and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the Elks Club in Newberry, Michigan. Beloved husband of Helen. Loving father of Elaine (the late Tim) Kelbaugh, Norbert Jr., Teresa (Rick) Thompson, Dawn (Bruce) Young, and the late Karen. Dear grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 1. Brother of Eleanor (Ted) Paczas, Violet Rochoczy, the late Bob, and the late Leonard. Visitation Monday, February 27, 2012 from 2:00 pm until time of service 6:00 PM at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
