I was honored to serve on the Harper Woods City Council for many years with Russ. His dedication and service to the Harper Woods community is commendable. Russ never hesitated to speak up about important issues, he was first to volunteer, and his heart was always with improving the community. I have fond memories of him and Elaine volunteering at Dad's Club Pancake Breakfasts and Lion's Club Spaghetti Dinners. Thank you for all you've done, Russ. You will be missed.

It was an honor knowing Lion Russ and a pleasure serving with him as a Lion. He always treated me with respect and was never shy about sharing his opinion, or advice, with me. He will be missed and remembered forever. R.I.P. my friend.
