Raymond August Mazur, age 86 died February 14, 2011 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. He was born August 29, 1924 in Hamtramck, MI. to the late John and Katherine (Bryndza)Mazur. Mr. Mazur retired from General Motors where he was an electrician. Mr. Mazur was predeceased by his wife Virginia. He is survived by his daughters; Patricia Mazur and Mary Shinabargar, grandchildren; Chadwick, Kayla, Zachary, and Nathan Shinabargar, sisters; Eleanore (Phillip) Grigg, Josephine Mazur, brother Joseph (Joanne) Mazur and sister-in-law Frances Mazur. He was predeceased by brothers; Michael, Walter and Casmere Mazur and a sister Helen Mazur. Funeral services will be held on Saturday 10:00 A.M. at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr, Warren, MI 48088. Visitation Friday 2:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
