Richard Allen Bendure

Richard Bendure, 73 died on October 3, 2021. Richard was the son of Elvin and Alma. He was the 6th of 7 children including Bob (Rose), Ruth, Don (Barb), Chris (Virko), Brother-in-law Bob and the late Alice and Mary. He was married to the late Karen for 43 years, father of the late Emily, and survived by his daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Rah-ed. Richard was a loving man who dedicated his life to caring for his family and gave of himself selflessly. His humor and faith in God, supported him on his journey. He worked on the Chrysler Assembly Line from age 19 until he retired, and was drafted to the army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid handyman, and enjoyed serving as an usher in his church for years. He loved spending time with his family including camping, attending musicals, and volunteering. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Memorial Service Saturday October 9th 12:30pm St Paul Lutheran Church, 375 Lothrop, Grosse Pointe Farms. In lieu of flowers please donate in his honor to Salvation Army or The Noah Campaign at St Paul’s

Uncle Rick was such a kind, loving, and caring man. Some of the things I will remember most about him are his love for family, faith, coffee, and talk radio. Sending love to Elizabeth and Rah-ed.
