Richard Anthony D'Amico

Richard Anthony D’Amico, age 61, passed away on February 15, 2021. Cherished father to Christopher Franco, Stephanie (Kyle) Seay, and Jacquelyn (Alexander) Moinet. Adored grandfather to Lachlan Seay. Dear brother to Linda D’Amico-Kingston and Pia (Tracey) Jesse. Loving uncle to Nicole (Tim) Elliot, Desiree Kingston, Eric (Amanda) Kingston, Brittany (Wesley) McGinnis, and Robert Brenner. Predeceased by his parents, Richard and Ruth, and his brother Victor. 

Richard was an avid outdoorsman - enjoying fishing and hunting. He was always the handyman of the family - always fixing and building with his hands. Richard loved cooking but mostly eating what he cooked. He was also a collector of many things - hats, t-shirts, and trinkets.

While Richard had many hobbies and interests, his family was the most important to him and always came first. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation for Richard will be held on Friday from 1 PM until 8 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 12 PM until the time of the funeral service at 3:30 PM at the funeral home.

Face coverings will be required for entry into the funeral home. Also, a maximum of 25 guests will be allowed in the room at a time.
