Robert J. Gallagher was born January 19, 1952 in Detroit, MI to James and Jean (nee Ward) Gallagher . He passed away February 19, 2010 at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit at the age of 58. He was a machine adjuster for Engineering Plastics Products for the automotive industry. He is survived by his wife Lucinda; son Shaun; three step-children , his siblings James Gallagher, Barbara Straub and Shirley Powell, and also by many nieces and nephews. Robert was pre-deceased by his parents James and Jean. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2:00 until 9:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier, Grosse Pointe Woods. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10:00am at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Austin officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
