Dr. Robert Raymond Gryebet, age 65, passed away after his long battle on September 29th, 2021. Beloved husband for 33 years to Christine Gryebet. Cherished father to Dena, Raymond, and Stephanie. Dear brother to Rick, Sandy, and Randy (Van). Adored uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Raymond.
Robert was born on June 30, 1956 to Raymond and Stephanie Gryebet. He was raised in Roseville, MI with his parents and siblings. Later in life, Robert earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and started his own dental practice which he ran for 36 years. He met Christine while he was in dental school and together they moved to Grosse Pointe to start a beautiful family which he loved so much. Robert and Christine resided in Grosse Pointe for 26 years. They raised their family and later moved to Macomb Township.
Robert was not just a dentist but an avid golfer and bourbon connoisseur. He also was an 4th degree black belt in karate and enjoyed being active. Mostly, he loved spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his optimism and bravery during his battle with brain cancer.
A visitation will be held on Friday from 9 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter Rd, St Clair Shores, MI 48080. Robert will be laid to rest at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East cemetery.
