Robert is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Ruby. He is survived by his children Cherie Williamson and Marcy Haase; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He owned the Haffner Jewelry Company for 63 years until his retirement at 80 years old.
Robert was extremely proud of his service in the Army during WWII. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne and was part of the D-Day battle.
Robert enjoyed spending time with the Masons, Shriners, 82nd Airborne Veterans, and the Moslem Temple Shriners Clown Unit.
Visitation for Robert Haffner will be held Sunday, April 14th from 2:00-8:00. Monday, April 15th viewing at 10:00 with chapel service to follow at 12:00 at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods.
