Roberta Genevieve Ivon, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2020, with her children by her side. She is survived by her children Peter J. Oldani and Genevieve Oldani-Caruso (Martin Caruso), her brother James Ivon (Mary), and her grandchildren James Caruso and Miranda Caruso, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Ivon (Jennie) and her sister Margaret Ivon.
During her career as a secretary for the City of Detroit, she worked at the Detroit Fire Department, the Detroit Historical Museum, and the Department of Employment and Training. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
