Roger Eric Lord

Roger Eric Lord was born on Thursday, September 9, 1943 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He is one of eight children from the late Edward and Margaret Lord. Roger died on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the age of 75. Roger worked for Chrsyler in Canada for 31 years. In his spare time, Roger enjoyed listening to gospel and classical music. He loved to ride his tractor around the property and spend hours working on the lawn and gardens. He was even known to pull dandelions from the lawn one by one with a knife in hand. Beloved husband of Kay for 45 years. Loving father of Janna Durham (significant other Bruce Burt). Cherished grandfather of Sarah Durham, Chloe Hall, and Eric Hall. Great-grandfather of Erin and Charles. Brother of Dianne Gomez, David Lord, Thomas Lord, the late William Lord, the late Judy Zabik, the late Elizabeth McPhail, and the late Sarah Furtah. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren, Michigan. Instate Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service 11:00 am at Great Lakes Christian Church, 3421 Chicago Road, Warren, Michigan. Roger will be buried at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan, on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at 1:30 pm. Memorial contributions to the Warrior Dog Foundation, 5930 Royal Lane Ste E # 355, Dallas, TX 75230 would be appreciated.
