

Ronnie Brdak passed away on October 21, 2010 at the age of 55. He was born in Detroit on December 9, 1954; son of Arthur and Adeline (nee Magreta) Brdak. He was a job setter for Daimler-Chrysler at the Mack 2 Engine Plant. Ronnie had a huge heart. He was the type of man who would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. He was the life of the party affectionately known as "Mudslide" by his family and friends. He enjoyed riding his Harley. In his spare time, Ronnie was an exceptional bowler and loved playing cards. He adored his German Sheppard "Bear". Mr. Brdak leaves behind his son Jason Brdak (Stephanie Hudson); Granddaughter Chloe; siblings Nancy (Bill) Pavelek, Art (Bernadette), Carol (Gary) Bishop, Larry; and his mother Adeline. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Arthur. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 - 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. A Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Mr. Brdak will lie in state on Tuesday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores at 9:30 am until the time of the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 am. Monsignor Michael Bugarin will officiate. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp. Family will receive donations at visitation Monday and at Mass on Tuesday.
