Rose Marie Allen passed away on September 22, 2018 at the age of 90. She was the dearest wife of the late George B. Allen and beloved mother of Maria (Richard) Gronan, Elizabeth (Ron) Dooley, and the late George W. (Judy) Allen. Rose was grandmother of Chad Gronan, Ross Gronan, Amanda (Tony) Dooley, Sarah, Jessica, William, George (Angel) Allen, Dawn (Matt) Dissette, Todd (Stacy) Allen, Brad (Brittney) Allen and great-grandmother of 10. Rose loved bingo and socializing with friends at Tim Hortons. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27, from 3:30 pm- 9:00 pm. Funeral will take place on Friday, September 28, at 10:00 am at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods 48236. Father Tony Sulkowski will be officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
