Rose Marie Poupard

Rose Marie Poupard (nee Shaw), age 82, died peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born on December 20, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. Rose was one of three children of Calvin J. Shaw and Alice Catherine Shaw (nee Santimer). Rose worked as a teacher assistant for St. Veronica Catholic Schools for approximately 20 years. She also worked for Darin & Armstrong for 12 years and Perron Construction for 6 years. She loved to spend time and play games with her grandchildren. She will be always remembered by her act of contacting others when they were in need and always paying attention and consoling others first. Beloved wife of Arthur Poupard for 47 years on August 12. Loving mother of Dennis (Nancy) Poupard, Bryan (Noel) Poupard, Barry Poupard, Tammy (Doug) Grenzicki, and Larry Poupard. Cherished grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 4 (soon to be 5). Sister of Gil Shaw and Sue (Chuck) Kin. Visitation will be Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday, August 12, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. Rosary Monday 7:00 pm. Instate Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 11:00 am until time of funeral Mass 11:30 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Road, Warren. Private burial will occur in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. Memorials in memory of Rose Marie may be made to the Congregation of St. Joseph in Nazareth, MI.
