Rose Sandra Spencer

Spencer, Rose Sandra. Born March 26, 1940. Passed away on January 16, 2014. Loving mother of Ian (Carol) and the late Frederick Spencer. Proud Grandmother to Freddy. Also survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters and numerous family and friends. In her early years, she worked at Book-Cadillac Hotel as an Elevator Operator. She was a professional manicurist working at many locations in Detroit and Grosse Pointe area. She retired from St. John's Hospital in food service and her final position as a manicurist was at the Greenhouse Salon in Grosse Pointe Farms. Visitation will be held at A.H .Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI on Thurs 12-9pm and Friday 12-9pm with rosary at 7pm and Sat 10-11am. Instate Saturday 11:30 am until Noon Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores.
