Russell Wilkinson was born August 2nd, 1957 in Lansing, Michigan to parents Carl and Jeanette Wilkinson. He entered into rest September 23, 2015 at St. John Hospital Warren. Russell was an active man who enjoyed bowling, and golf. He was known for his sense of humor and could always make you laugh. Going to the casino or relaxing with a cold beer were two of his favorite past times. The biggest love of his life was his family who affectionately called him "Sweet Daddy Russ". He was the proud father of Barbara Baker (Dennis), Darcy Nieuwenbroek (Marco), Holly DeVries (Nick), and Justin Wilkinson. He cherished his grandchildren Zachary, Dylan, Gina, Matthew, Maxwell. Russell is also survived by his sister Shelley Wilkinson, and brother Ray Wilkinson. Visitation will be Wednesday September 30th at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., At Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods from 2pm-7pm with Funeral Services at 7pm. Reverend Larry Austin will officiate.
