Sam was passionate about music. He played the guitar and recorded numerous songs. He was a fun loving man with a reserved and laid-back nature. He enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden. Sam loved animals including dogs.
He is survived by his dear sister Joann Smith, nephew Matthew Smith, and many extended relatives. He will be missed by all that knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 28th at noon at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd, Grosse Pointe Woods.
