Sarah Jane Maynor

Sarah is preceded in death by her beloved husband Chasie Maynor. She will be greatly missed by her caring children Lois (Ronald) Woods, Nathan (Diana) Maynor, Betty (Juan) Maynor, Nickey Maynor, Darlene Maynor, and Brenda (Gary) Gumbetter. Her cherished grandchildren Ronnie (Veronica) Woods, Philip Gumbetter, Tawana (Josh Lafleche) Chavis, Jason Maynor, Isabella Maynor, Dakota Maynor, Delsin Maynor, and her great-grandchildren Selene Smith, Lucian Smith, Cleric Smith, Ava Woods, and Lorene Lafleche. Her memory will be cherished by many other loving relatives.

Sarah spent 53 joyful years with her beloved husband Chasie. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, planting vegetables that she could use in her cooking. Nature was so important to Sarah, she especially loved birds. She would watch the birds in her backyard birdbath and always made sure they had food. When she was relaxing indoors, she would put on baseball to root for her favorite team: The Tigers. She would have fun going to the casino and showing off how lucky she was when she played the slots.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, at 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren. Funeral service will be held the follow day, Tuesday, September 29, an instate will be held from 9:00 am until time of service at 10:00 am.
