

Sharon Diane (Lamparter) DiGiulio passed away peacefully at her home in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan, surrounded by family, at the age of 84. Sharon was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Dr Walter DiGiulio, MD, who served as Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at St John Hospital. Sharon is survived by her three devoted children, Walter DiGiulio, Linda (DiGiulio) Krehbiel and Caroline DiGiulio, as well as her three grandchildren, Caroline, and Jack Krehbiel, and Roman DiGiulio. Sharon is also survived by her two siblings Ronald Lamparter (Mary) and Judith Swink (William, deceased), and sister-in-law Ann (DiGiulio) Smart. Sharon also leaves behind her longtime companion, Anthony Giorgio.
Sharon was comforted in passing by several loving family members and caregivers.
Visitation will be held at A.H. Peters Funeral Home in Grosse Pointe Woods on Friday, February 7th from 3-8pm. A mass will be held at 10am the following day at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Saint Clair Shores (in-state at 9:30), followed by a reception.
