Some of my best childhood memories were spent at Uncle Sam & Aunt Souraya's cottage at Williams Lake. She was a kind and beautiful lady. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Souraya was a wonderful and kind woman. I have many fond memories of visiting her and Uncle Sam at their home in Dearborn. I remember when Bernie and I both had babies a few hours apart and all the gifts she gave us. She was always so generous. God be with her.

I loved going to visit my Auntie Souraya. It was one of the things I looked most forward to in the summer. I may not have been your grandchild, but you made me feel as though I were. It's been a long time since those days, but I can still remember them like they were yesterday. Life is short...time goes by too fast...I hope and pray we will meet again in heaven someday where you will cook us some Kibbeh and be forever surrounded by family, smiling and laughing. Nick, Phil, Denny, Marie and Bernie: Dick and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies in the loss of your mother. Souraya was always such a kind and beautiful lady and we will remember her great cooking and deep love for our Uncle Sam forever. May her memory be eternal.

Auntie Souraya was a true angel. Her home was a welcoming retreat for everyone. Her generosity and sweetness will never be forgotten. So faithful to the Blessed Mother and Jesus. I am sorry to hear about Aunt Souraya. She was always very kind and gentle. I enjoyed visiting with her and my Uncle Sam. I hope her passing was peaceful and painless. She will be remembered by me with warm pleasant thoughts.
