Stacey Jean Dunlop

Stacey Jean Dunlop passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Ascension St. John Hospital. She was born in Warren, Michigan on November 1, 1968; daughter of William Allen and Margaret Lucille (nee Garrison) Dunlop. Stacey was a Princess Warrior in her 10-plus year battle with colon cancer, showcasing her strength, faith and commitment to seeing her only daughter graduate from high-school. She worked at MALC law firm during most of her treatment and the remainder with Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights. Stacey enjoyed music, dancing, live concerts, NASCAR, spontaneous adventures with her daughter and watching Outlander, The Crown and reading books on her kindle. She was extremely proud of her Scottish heritage and her daughter, Caitlin. Her biggest love in life was her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Caitlin Dunlop, her mother Margaret, her sister Janet (Eric) McAllister and brother Bill (Kirstin) Dunlop. She was predeceased by her father William and her brothers James and Steven Kennealy. She adored her nephews Eddie, Adam, Paul, James, Liam, Jonathan, Quinn and Reed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church 11451 E. 10 Mile Rd., Warren where Ruthanne Herrington and Anne Schaefer will officiate. Stacy’s family will receive guests at 11:00 am at the church.
