I had the pleasure of working with Steve for many years in our small group. Steve was very diligent and resourceful, plus we shared endless laughs to make the work challenges tolerable. Steve was reserved, yet he could talk passionately about a topic he loved -- Lions statistics, math formulas and reviving old jokes. What a bright, talented guy who will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the entire family on Stephen's passing. Words are inadequate, but please know that you are in my prayers.

Oakland County Community & Home Improvement Division staff will miss Steve's quiet nature, sense of humor and professionalism. Steve worked diligently on behalf of Pontiac to rid blighted properties from the neighborhoods and help keep residents safe. He will remain in our hearts and his family in our thoughts.

Steve, you were such a quiet hidden gem - so smart and talented. I worked with Steve only a short time and I continued to be impressed by his drive and intelligence, and such a nice man. RIP Steve, you will be missed.

Steve was very quiet when he first started at Entertainment. Then he and Dave Drag got to be good friends and it was "Drag and Maher". You could hear them cracking each other up from all corners of the office. Steve added a bright light to our close-knit team. His smile and sense of humor will be missed. Way too soon. Way too soon...

Steve was such a nice person to work with and be around. He had a great sense of humor and always a smile on his face. I was always amazed at how much he knew about computers. He helped me to set up my first MAC! Rest in peace Steve -great memories of you will live on forever.

Steve was a wonderful coworker and a very nice person. We shared many stories and laughs over the years at Entertainment. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

Steve did an excellent job of providing the entertainment with his collection of DVDs during the holidays at Aunt Phyllis's. He was always smiling and in a good mood. My condolences to Drake, Mary, and Chris. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. He will be greatly missed.

Steve was a great teammate and wonderful human being. No matter how tough the task he was always up for it with smart ideas and a smile on his face. The world needs more people like him.

Steve was the most kind, friendly, honest and caring person that I know. He made me laugh for hours on end, as we recalled our adventures at Entertainment Publications. Steve "the Captain" will be missed greatly, and I will always remember the laughter and friendship.
