Summer Dawn Wagenbach

Summer Dawn Wagenbach (Zielinski), age 33, died at home Wednesday, July 6, 2011, following a courageous battle against heart failure. She was born June 30, 1978 in Detroit to Sandra Harper (Knack) and Fred Zielinski. She was an only child but extremely close with her extended family. Summer attended Fraser High School (class of 1996) and Macomb Community College. She worked for many years at R.J's Bar and Grill. She loved gardening and spending time with her family. Summer is survived by her husband Charles (Chuck) Wagenbach Jr. their son Jack and daughter Layla. She is further survived by her mother, Sandra Harper (Knack), Grandmother Elizabeth Knack, Aunt Cinde (Cliff) von Keltz and Teri (Ed) Brice, Uncle Vern Knack. Cousins Jacci (John) Ouellette, Kapeka von Keltz, and Koa von Keltz. Second cousins, Joshua and Jessica Ouellette and Kadyn vonKeltz, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father Fred and Grandfather Vern Knack. We would like to thank all of the staff of Hospice for their help and support as well as R.J's Bar and Grill and McNeil's Place for hosting fundraisers in Summer's honor and everyone for their generous donations. Finally, to all of the friends and family members of Summer, we thank you. We couldn't have done it without you. Visitation Friday 1 to 9 pm at A. H.
