Susan Marie Davis

Susan Davis passed away on October 23, 2013 at the age of 62 at Receiving Hospital in Detroit. She was born on November 11, 1950 at Deaconess Hospital in Detroit; daughter of Charles and Norma Jean (nee McNabb) Davis. Susan attended Wayne State University and Eastern Michigan University. She served in the United States Navy and had numerous jobs throughout herlife until she was forced to leave the work force due to a disability. She is survived by he parents; brother Craig, and sisters Carol Ureel, Patty Lynn Von Hagel, Gayle Christine Franck, and Julie Ann Barber. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. She will lie instate on Monday from 1:30 pm until the time of the funeral at 2:00 pm at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 20338 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods. Reverend Randy Boelter will officiate. Susan will be interred at Downing Cemetery in Wheatland, MI (near Deckersville). Memorial contributions may be made to the Church.
