Susan M. Kratz

Kratz, Susan M., age 67 of Warren, passed away peacefully at McClaren-Macomb Hospital in Mt. Clemens on June 13, 2017. Susan was known to her family and friends as selfless, generous, and welcoming to all. Her grandchildren were extremely special to her, and they will forever live in her heart. Susan was also a softy for animals; she especially loved birds. While raising her two children, the family fondly remembers taking summer camping trips all over the Midwest. Susan could often be found walking the beaches, barefoot, taking in all of the beauty and serenity. Caseville was a special destination where many family memories where created, and now remembered. Susan was also known to be quite the artistic talent. She was crafty in everything crafty! It didn't matter what she was crafing, she loved it all. Painting, felting, cake decorating where just a few of her specialties in the art world. Susan is the beloved mother of Charles (Julie) Kratz, and Stephanie (Tommy Olesky) Kratz. Cherished grandmother of MacKenzie and Sophia Kratz, Haleigh and Lilyan Olesky. Loving sister of Michael (Susan) Fleming, Janice Bush, Cynthia (Craig) Federle, Joseph (Michelle) Fleming, Annette (Dennis) Saulino, and Jeffrey (Monica) Fleming. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. The family welcomes friends and neighbors to the A.H. Peters Funeral home of Warren, 32000 Schoenherr Ave (at Masonic), Warren, MI 48088 on Sunday, June 18th from 2-9pm with a 7pm Rosary service. Funeral Services will be celebrated, Monday June 19th at 12noon at the funeral home with, Rev. Fr. Joe Horn to officiate. Interment, St. Clements Cemetery, Centerline. Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family.
