Dear Gail, What a shock I found by Googling Sue's name! I had never done something like that before. A couple of times over the past fifty years, when I was visiting family in Detroit, I called and spoke with Sue, but was unable to hook up with her and John. Please accwpt my sincere condolances for your loss of a fun sister and brother-in-law. I will keep them in my prayers.

I am so very thankful to God for allowing me to know such a wonderful lady. I miss Sue terribly! Even though I was her Letter Carrier, she treated me as though I was a daughter. She always wanted to make sure that I was dressed appropriately for the weather. We talked about anything and everything. At times, I would actually forget why I was out there in the first place! Sue would apologize for giving me outgoing mail from the pharmacy when she had to do billing. She would be so concerned that the letters would be too heavy. I'd say , "Sue, they're not bricks." We would just laugh. But what Sue did not realize was that I would have given her the world if it was in my power to do so. She was like a Mother to me and I will always cherish her. I miss her so much! I will continue to pray for the Dotson Family. I love you all!

Mike, my thoughts and sympathy go out to you and your family. Keep the memories alive by sharing stories of your mother and her life. I am grateful for the warm guidance and words that you gave me when my brother passed. We are all thinking of you and your family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Ms. Dotson's passing. I remember spending many holidays at the Dotson household with my good friend Susanne, her parents and siblings. They were always exciting and funfilled. My heart goes out to the family at this sad time.

My mother is the most beautiful soul that ever graced the earth.She loved all others more than life itself.Everyone she touched was not only blessed but was a better being for just having known her.She is now at last being granted her so deserved seat in heaven at long last receiving God's intended gifts and rejoined with the loved ones whom have gone before her.forever the most important gift given to us still here on earth.See you soon mommie,I love you with all that I am,thanks to you.

So sorry to hear about your mom. Your mom was a very special person. She always made all of your friends feel welcome at your house. Great memories of our high school days. Your family will be in my prayers today. Your mom is already in heaven--

Dotson Kids, I remember the days well when Sue and John & I doubled dated. I also remember well the day they got married.
