Suzanne Gordon

Suzanne Gordon passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026. She was a devout Christian who would read the bible and pray every day. Her Christian values were incorporated in every decision she made. Suzanne was very forgiving and would bless all of the kids on her block. She enjoyed her husband’s sense of humor and watching old Andy Griffith shows.

As a school teacher, her degree in pedagogy enabled her to teach hundreds of students how to play the piano. She loved reading, was a talented artist, photography and playing the piano. She loved to travel and went to China 3 times smuggling and distributing bibles to people. Of all of Suzanne’s interests and hobbies, her biggest love in life was her family.

She leaves behind her loving husband Robert. She was proud of her daughter Lisa Burrows and son Daniel. She adored her grand children Andrew, Lily, Justin, Hunter, Taylor, Braden and Camille.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8th from 2:00 pm until the time of her funeral at 4:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. She will be interred at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp.
