Theller Eppling Schultz, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025. She was the cherished wife of Daniel Schultz, the father of Daniel, Eric (Kelli), and Jennifer (Derek), and the adored grandmother of Savannah, Noah, Wilhelmina, Claire, Brock, and Griffin. She was also a loving sister to the late Deborah, David, and Rebecca. Theller is survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Born on September 3, 1948, in Fairfax County, Virginia, Theller was raised by her late mother and father, Elizabeth Caffrey and Ralph Lecorchick. She met Daniel while he was stationed in Virginia with the USMC, with whom he raised their three children.
Theller was an ardent advocate for her family, extended family, and friends, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her. She cherished long motorcycle rides with her husband, bowling, and gardening. Despite a stroke that limited her physical abilities later in life, Theller maintained her remarkable sense of humor and her unwavering love for spending time with her loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be considered for the American Heart Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
An instate for Theller will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 9:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48080, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM.
