

Thomas R. Andris of Grosse Pointe Park, MI passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Detroit, on July 14, 1941, son of the late Thomas G. and Barbara Andris. Tom was a man of deep and abiding faith in God. He had a great love of God, family, his little dog Gracie, his country, world travel, serving at church, dancing, golf, running marathons, handball, travel planning for friends, world history, bible study, trivia, music, gardening, unique pets, raising pheasants and MSU football.
But above all else, he loved his family, which was the most important part of his life. Mr. Andris was retired after more than 40 years as CEO and President of Arrow Uniform, which was a family owned business started by his father. His employees were his second "family." Mr. Andris was a business leader, MSU Honor College undergrad, Stanford MBA, who helped to shape and significantly grow the uniform service industry through innovative uses of technology and data. He was a an active member of the Young Presidents Organization, Country Club of Detroit, and SAE fraternity. He lived a full and blessed life, full of love, purpose and adventure!
Tom is survived by his loving wife Denise, loving children Debbie Caputo (John), Marc Andris (Veronica), Noelle Russow (Dan Waller), Steve Andris (Jenny), step-son Justin Peruski, grandchildren Elizabeth, Catherine, Rachel, Lauren, Allie, Gabby, Jacob, Ethan, Scarlette, Ava, Bella, Faith, Sam, Ashley, Katelyn and Andris, as well as nephews Fred and Tom G., and many dear close friends and caring extended family. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Amy Rohland and brother and business partner Bob. The family will host a celebration of life service in the spring of 2022.
