Thomas Joseph Jacob passed away on Friday April 6, 2018 at Advantage Living Center in Roseville with his family by his side. He was born in Detroit on September 21, 1951 the son of Nicholas and Julia Jacob. Tom retired in 2014 as a chef from St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit after 25 years. Tom served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam Era. Tom enjoyed working with his computer researching whatever interested him. He especially enjoyed attending the Gratiot Cruise. Tom is survived by his siblings Kathy Quayhackx (Jim), Mark, Brian, Judy Griffith (the late Ken) and David also his nieces and nephew Jennifer, Jeremy, Rachel and Emily. He is predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Julia Jacob. Visitation for Thomas will take place on Tuesday from 2 until 6 pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. No funeral service is planned.
