Tom “Tommy†Michaels died August 19, 2020 at the age of 63. He is loved and will be missed by his sister Kathy (Douglas) Hawkins, brother Cass Michaels Jr., and sister Sue Michaels. He was also loved by 4 nieces 1 nephew, 3 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews, aunts uncles and many cousins.
Tom enjoyed playing hockey incurring the nicknames “Warsaw†and “Guyâ€. He loved boating (Guppy), golfing, BBQ, and gardening. Basically an easy going guy, he had his “grandpa sideâ€. Don’t shake his hand without a firm grip, certainly don’t run around the cottage front door to back doorn and never “just split the billâ€. Lost too soon. Live for today.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 28th at 10:00 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 467 Fairford Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
